Andrew Kuyk has been appointed director of
sustainability and competitiveness at the FDF and replaces Callton Young, whose
two-year secondment with the FDF has now finished.
Sainsbury's spirits, Champagne, sparkling,
fortified, and French wine buyer Melissa Draycott is leaving the chain after 19
years to head First Quench’s five-strong wine buying team next month. She will
be replaced by Daniel Bracegirdle, Sainsbury's Spain, Portugal, South America
and fortified wine buyer, whose role will be taken over in-house by Olimpia
Lindgren.
Harry Whitelock has been appointed chairman
of Anglia Regional Co-operative Society. He replaces Jean Humphreys, who has
completed a maximum two terms in office.
Per Bank, chief executive of Co-op Denmark,
is leaving his role on 31 March to join Tesco. Bank will spend time
familiarising himself with the business before taking up an international
posting, a Tesco spokesman said.
Data company IRI has appointed Blair Ruelens
as UK managing director. Ruelens was previously group director and executive
vice president for global sales at Cadbury Schweppes and replaces Jeremy
McNamara.
Former Tesco chief information officer Colin
Cobain has joined HM Revenue & Customs as a non-executive director. He is
also non-executive chairman of Safe Surgery Systems and interim group CIO at
SABMiller.
Rob Eastwood has joined parents Tony and
Judith Eastwood at cask ale wholesaler Small Beer. He takes up the role of
commercial manager and was previously a national account manager for Bateman’s
Brewery.
Lorcán Ó Cinnéide, chief executive of the
Irish Fish Producers’ Organisation, is the new chairman of the Federation of
Irish Fishermen, replacing Gerard O’Flynn.
Ian Stevenson, senior policy officer for
dairy at the Ulster Farmers’ Union, is leaving after 10 years to join the
Livestock & Meat Commission for Northern Ireland as industry development
manager.
